Google Cloud updates: Bigtable, Gemini, GKE, Chronicle API
Google Cloud announced several updates across its services. Bigtable now offers backups up to 365 days, Gemini Enterprise released Core Assistant GA and preview observability features, and GKE introduced C4A bare metal instances and Confidential GKE Nodes. The Chronicle API has been unified and upgraded, while Cloud Storage will delete empty folders with its Object Lifecycle Management Delete action starting August 2026.

BigQuery multi-region sharing, Gemini Enterprise updates, and Cloud Trace
BigQuery now supports multi-region sharing for datasets and linked replicas, reaching general availability.
